This was our ninth time in ten years of having mini-DXpeditions in the basement of Dons' parent's house in Zion, PA. Don set up the antennas in the nearby field and we listened overnight while recording with the SDR's. Conditions mostly favored domestic stations this time, as the list of audio files shows. We did manage to hear a few international stations like 1140 CBI in Sydney NS and 590 HIDV in the Dominican Republic, and 1590 WPVL Platteville WI was heard with a nice ID for 470 watts of power. There were carriers on the TA frequencies but no audio was heard. Pirate Radio Free Whatever came in well on 6950 kHz. Despite the mediocre conditions, it's always fun to get together and listen on a beverage antenna and talk about DX topics.
